The Bible gives us guidelines for keeping our bodies vigorous and strong into old age. The more natural the food, the less refined, the better. We often eat with our eyes and don’t think about what is best for our bodies.

God provided us with an original diet that was plant-based. After the flood, when all vegetation was wiped out, God permitted mankind to eat certain clean animals. Guidelines for clean and unclean meats are outlined in Leviticus 11. Both land animals, birds, and sea animals that are clean and unclean are discussed.
